October, the month marking the beginning of autumn and the time for ghosts, vampires, witches, goblins -- and of course, bats!

The flower that is specific to this month is the Marigold. Not only is the color fall friendly, but it also has a very special origin and meaning. Check out the Marigold's significance at www.afloralconnect.com

Halloween is my personal favorite holiday and the most celebrated in October, but there are various others days to recognize this frightful season.

Here are a few other important and fun dates to mark down on your calenders:

Columbus Day
- October 8th

Thanksgiving(Can)- Oct 8th
Yom Kippur - October 9th
Sukkot - October 14th
Bosses Day - October 16th
Sweetest Day - October 20th
United Nations Day - Oct 24th
Mother-In-Laws' Day - Oct 28th
and last, but certainly not least...
Halloween (All Hallow's Eve) - October 31st

For those of you who are interested, the full moon falls on the 26th.
